I remember back in the 3 peat days, staple center without the lights out, was like Golden State warriors home arena, lots of fan yelling and just a great feeling to watch. But now, these lights out are just not fun to watch. Dont you guys think they should change it? Have you guys ever step foot into Staples Center to watch a Laker game? The lights out thing looks dark on TV, but it's not dark in person. That should have no bearing on how the Lakers play. The only problem is that the West is so tight this year, every home game is a must win.
You add that along with our injury plagued team and losing to the two crappiest teams in the NBA, it hurts. Just surious as it looks so annoying on TV! Thanks for the feedback.. Was always curious about it, I find it so annoying! I believe it is supposed to mimic a prize fight setting and to create atmosphere as the previous poster mentioned. The show is on the court, not in the stands. And that court looks sick in HD. I'm sure it's better in the arena too - the focus is on the game.
Not on some lame promotion in the stands. Bargnani PER - I love it personally. Serious sport has nothing to do with fair play. It is bound up with hatred, jealousy, boastfulness, disregard of all rules and sadistic pleasure in witnessing violence: in other words it is war minus the shooting.
George Orwell. Cmon MLSE, read this!! They started this a few years ago. They thought that laker home games were too focused on who was there i.
They wanted the lakers be the main focus so they darken out the crowd and have all the lights on the court like a Stage. More FS Southeast News ». View all Southeast Sites. More Northwest News ».
